Accessibility Statement

Last updated:

Juniper Proposals wants everyone who visits this website to be able to find what they need and to contact us easily, regardless of ability or the technology they use. This statement describes our commitment to accessibility, the practices we follow, and how to let us know if something is not working for you.

Our commitment

We aim to make this website usable and accessible to as many people as possible. The website is designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) principles in mind: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. We have not obtained a formal WCAG certification or an independent audit, and we do not claim full conformance; instead we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility and keep improving.

What we do

  • Keyboard navigation. All links, buttons, menus and controls can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the element that has focus is visibly highlighted.
  • Semantic markup. Pages use proper HTML landmarks, a logical heading structure, lists and tables so that screen readers and other assistive technologies can present the content correctly.
  • Contrast and readability. Text and interactive elements are designed to have sufficient colour contrast, and we do not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
  • Form labels. Every form field has a visible label and clear error messages.
  • Alternative text. Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text, and purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Responsive design. Pages adapt to different screen sizes and orientations, work with browser zoom, and do not require horizontal scrolling.
  • Video. Embedded videos are loaded only when you choose to play them, and we work to provide descriptions and, where available, transcripts.
  • Self-hosted, lightweight pages. Fonts, scripts and styles are served from our own website so that pages load reliably without third-party trackers.

Known limitations

Some content is produced by third parties, such as video players and documents hosted on other platforms, and may not fully meet our accessibility goals. Older articles may contain images without complete descriptions. We review and correct these issues as we find them.

Ongoing improvements

We review new pages and features for accessibility before they are published, test with keyboard navigation and common assistive technologies, and revisit existing content as standards and best practices evolve.
